let the required other side be x cm .

area of trapezium=1/2xsum of parallel sides x height

34=1/2 x 10+x x4

10+x=17

x=7

Area of Trapezium

= 1 /2×Sum of Parallel Sides ×

Distance between parallel sides

⇒34= 21 ×(10+x)×4

⇒x=7

Length of other parallel side of trapezium is 7 cm
