area of a trapezium is 34 cm²

height =4cm

One of the parallel sides of the trapezium is 10 cm

area =1/2(p1+p2)×h (p1=one parallel side and p2 is other parallel side)

=1/2(10+p2)×4

=2(10+p2)

20+2p2=34

or,2p2=34-20

or,2p2=14

or,p2=7
