Answer:

Breadth of the two rectangles = 10cm

Length of one rectangle whose perimeter is half of the perimeter of the other rectangle=15cm

Therefore, perimeter of one rectangle =2×10+15

= 2×25=50cm

According to question, the rectangle with perimeter 50 cm is half of the perimeter of the other rectangle.

Therefore, perimeter of other rectangle = 50×2

=100cm

Therefore difference between the perimeters of both the rectangles = 100cm - 50cm = 50cm

Answer:

length of first rectangle = 15 cm

breadth of rectangle = 10 cm

perimeter = 2( l+b)

=2( 15+10)

=300 cm

let the perimeter of second rectangle be x

ATQ

perimeter of first rectangle= 1/2 x

300= 1/2x

300×2 = x

600 = x

so the perimeter of second rectangle is 600 cm

difference between the perimeters = 600- 300

=300 cm
