1) 17 chairs= rs 19,210

1 chair= 19210/17= rs 1,130

chairs purchased for rs 1,13,000= 1,13,000/1,130=  100 chairs

2)According to the question,

Weight of 72 books = 9kg

Weight of 1 book = 9/72

= 1/8

= 0.125kg

= 125 grams

(a) Weight of 80 books = 80×125

= 10000 grams

= 10 kg.

(b) No. of books that weight 6 kg = 6/0.125

= 48 books

3)Hence 153 books would occupy shelf length of 4.6 m
