c. Resonance

When a single molecular structure does not efficient to show all characteristic of molecule then resonance is formed .

In benzene there are three double bond between carbon and we know that size of double bond is smaller than single bond so the bond length in a single molecule is different but practically the bond length is equal this is because of Resonance
