will be twice the sum of ages of two children. Find the age of the father.

Let's the father narrator age = F

The age of his two sons = x

F = 3x

After 5 years -

F + 5 = 2 {x + (5×2)}

F + 5 = 2 ( x + 10)

F = 2x + 15

3x = 2x + 15

( x = 15 )

Put in ( 1 )

F = 30x

F = 3( 15 )

answer = F = 45
