Hi ,

******************************************"*******

a , a + d , a + 2d ,..., is an A .P whose

first term and common difference are a and d.

General term of A.P = nth term

an = a + ( n - 1 )d

*******************************************

Now , according to the problem given ,

first term = a = 6 ,

common difference = d = 5 ,

Required A.P is ,

a = 6 ,

a2 = a + d = 6 + 5 = 11

a3 = a + 2d = 6 + 2×5 = 16

a4 = a + 3d = 6 + 3 × 5 = 21

general term = an = a + ( n - 1 )d

an = 6 + ( n - 1 )×5

= 6 + 5n - 5

= 5n + 1

Therefore ,

6 , 11 , 16 ,21 ,....is required A .P

General term = an = 5n + 1

I hope this helps you.

the first term of AP is 6 and the common difference is 5 so the ap is a + b + c and a minus b so it is equal to 26 11 17 and continuous
