a) Amount spent on fuel=29/100*150 crores=43.5 crores

b)Amount spent on taxes=18/100*150=27 crores

Amount spent on equipment and other rentals=4/100*150=6

Hence, 27/6=4.5 times is the amount spent on Taxes compared to the amount spent on Equipment and other rentals.

c)Central angle for the sector corresponding to Modernization=20/100*360=72°

d)Fraction of the total expenditure is spent on both Fuel and Taxes together=29/100+18/100=47/100

e) 1/4th of the whole pie chart=100*1/4=25%

Two items together make up for almost one-fourth of the total spending are Equipment and other rentals and Modernization as 20%+4%=24% which is the most closest to 25%
