Given:-

To find:-

☆Force of attraction between them,when the force is reduced to half.

Solution:-

We know that:-

=>F=Gm1m2/R²

=>10=Gm1m2/R² ------(1)

Now,F'(New force) will be:-

=>F'=Gm1m2/(R/2)²

=>F'=Gm1m2/(R²/4) ------(2)

Now,by dividing equation (2) by (1) ,we get:-

=>F'/10=[Gm1m2/(R²/4)]/[Gm1m2/R²]

=>F'/10=4

=>F'=10×4

=>F'=40N

Thus,the force of attraction between the bodies if separation is reduced to half is 40N.
