2.)If the gas P i.e.,HCL(Hydrogen Chloride gas )is passed through white colour of silver nitrate solution it forms white soluble salt of silver hydroxide which is soluble in excess of NH4OH to form diamine silver chloride but insoluble in Dil.HNO3 acid or cold water.
