1- Article 15 of the Constitution provides that “The State shall not discriminate against any citizen on grounds only of religion, race, caste, sex, place of birth or any of them.” This means a very strict and stringent provision has been laid down in the Constitution of India to safeguard and protect the minority rights.

2- The Constitution empowers the Supreme Court and High Court with the duty to safeguard the Fundamental Rights of the citizens. The Supreme Court under Article 32 and High Court under Article 226 of the Constitution can issue Writs for the protection of Fundamental Rights
