1) The length and breadth of a rectangle are 35 cm and 10 cm. What would be
the breadth of the rectangle if its length is decreased by 10 cm, without
changing its area?

If we decrease it's length by 10 cm, with out changing its area, then its breadth will be

= 350 ÷ (35 - 10) cm

= 350 ÷ 25 cm

= 14 cm
