Answer:

length:breadth=5:2

let length =5x

breadth=2x

x stands fr ratio constant

total length = 2500÷12.5=200m

w'k'T

perimeter of rectangle= 2(length+breadth)

200m=2(5x+2x) we have already find l and b above

200m=10x+4x

200m=14x

200m÷14=x

14.28=x

now l=5x=5×14.28=71.4m

b=2x=2×14.28=28.56

this is l and b approximately

Answer:

Let the sides be 5x and 2x

Let the sides be 5x and 2xArea of land = total cost / rate of fencing

Let the sides be 5x and 2xArea of land = total cost / rate of fencing= 25000 / 12.5

= 2000 sq. m

area of rectangular land = l × b

= 5x × 2x

= 10 x^2

x^2 = 2000 ÷ 10

=200

x = 200

x = 14.14

L = 5x

L = 5x = 5× 14.14

L = 5x = 5× 14.14

=70.7 m

B= 2x= 2× 14.14

= 28.28 m
