Let breadth be x

Length=7/5 *x=7x/5

perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)=2(7x/5+x)

given,perimeter=48cms

2(7x/5+x)=48

7x/5+x=48/2=24

(7x+5x)/5=24

12x/5=24

x=24 *5/12

x=10cms i.e., breadth=10cms

length=7*x/5=7*10/5=14cm
