Selling price of a pack of juice = 1840

Cost of a small pack of juice =80 (sold for free)

Percentage of profit gained =10%

As the small pack of juice was sold for free, it's cost will be added to the cost price of the pack of juice.

We know that :-

\bold{CP =  \frac{100  \: \times \:  SP}{100 \:  +  \: profit} }

Then :-

Let cost price be x.

The cost price of this pack of juice= x+80

Which means :-

The cost price of this pack of juice :-

 = x + 80 =  \frac{100 \times 1840}{100 + 10}

 = x + 80 =  \frac{184000}{110}

 = x + 80 =  \frac{18400\cancel0}{11\cancel0}

 = x + 80 =  \frac{18400}{11}

 = x + 80 = 1672.72

 = x = 1672.72 - 80

 = x =\bold{ 1592.72}

Thus, the cost price = 1592.72

Therefore, the cost price of a pack of juice = 1592.72
