The mean of 15 numbers is 27
As we know that,
Mean = Sum of observation / Total observations
Let the sum of observations be x
Subsitute the required values,
27 = x/15
27 * 15 = x
x = 405
Now, we have to multiply each number by 4 then we get :-
= 405 * 4
= 1620
Thus, The new sum of observation is 1620
Therefore,
Again By using mean formula, we get :-
Mean = 1620/15
Mean = 108
Hence, The new mean of the new numbers will be 108
