Answer:

1) Mean of 6 numbers = 151

Per formula, Mean = \frac{Sum of x numbers}{x}

So, sum of the 6 numbers would be 6*151 = 906

Now, mean of 5 of the numbers is 139

Hence sum of those 5 numbers would be 5*139 = 695

So, sixth number would be the difference between the sum of 6 numbers and sum of 5 numbers

6th number = 906-695 = 211

2) This question also follows the same logic as the previous one.Mean = \frac{Sum of x numbers}{x}

So total points scored in the first 4 games by the team would be 73*4 = 292 points

In 5th game, team scored 58 points.

So, total points scored by the team in 5 games would be sum of total points scored in 4 games and points scored in 5th game

Total points scored in 5 games = 292+58 = 350 points

Total games played = 5

Now as, Mean = \frac{Sum of x numbers}{x}

So, mean score of 5 games = 350/5 = 70
