Explanation:

  1. NF3 has a distorted tetrahedral structure and pyramidal geometry. Therefore it has sp3 hybridisation. People often mistake it to be sp2 because it just has 3 other atoms bonded to it. But it must be kept in mind that there is one lone pair with N and it must be given a hybridised orbital.
  2. Oxygen is sp3 hybridised in H2O molecule. Two hybrid orbitals are occupied by lone pairs and two are used in bonding with Hydrogen atoms. Since lone pairs does not contribute to the geometry of a molecule, therefore H2O has an angular geometry.
