Explanation: According to this theory there was only one super continent-Pangea.To the north there was Angara land and the south had Gondwana land.this land was evantually split because of currents caused by strong rainfalls.The Indo-Australian plate was split from the Gondwana land and changed course to north.this gave way to a collision between the The Indo-Australian plate and the large Eurasian Plate.Due to this collision, the sedimentary rocks which were accumulated in the geosyncline known as the Tethys were folded to form the mountain system of western Asia and  Himalaya.
