1. The perimeter of a rectangle is 50 cm. The length is 5 com more its more its breath.Find its length and breath.
2. The sum of 2 numbers is 90 and the greater number exceeds twice by 15.Find the smallest number.
3 A purse has only 2 and 5 rupees.The total value of coin is 132.If the number of 5 rupees coin is one third the no of 2 rupees.Find the number of each type of coin.

1.let breadth be x
then length =x+5
Perimeter=2 (l+b)
50=2 (x+x+5)
25=2x+5
x=10
so l=15and b=10
2.let smallest no. be x and greater be y
then 2x=y+15
y=2x-15
now x+2x-15=90
3x=105
x=35
So smallest no. is 35
