breadth= x

length = 2x+1

2 ( l+ b ) = p

2 (x + 2x+1) = 80

6x + 2 = 80

6x = 78

x = 13

27m, 13m

Answer:

Dear...

let the breadth be x then length will be 2x + 1

Now perimeter 2(length + breadth)

→ 2( 2x+1 + x) = 80

→ 4x + 2 + 2x = 80

→ 6x + 2 = 80

→ 6x = 80 - 2 → 6x = 78

→ x = 78/6 = 13

Hence the value of x is 13...

now breadth = x

so breadth = 13m

length = 2x + 1

= 2 x 13 + 1 = 26 + 1 = 27m
