1. Perimeter of square =4*8=32cm

Perimeter of rectangle =2(l+b)

Length=10

Given perimeter of square equal to the perimeter of rectangle

32=2(10+b)

Solving we get

b=6

2. perimeter of square =4*side

=4*12=48

According to question

Perimeter of regular hexagon equal to twice perimeter of square

Let a be the side of hexagon

Then perimeter of hexagon =6a

6a=2( perimeter of square)

6a=2*48

Solving we get

a=16cm

The perimeter of a square=4xside
perimeter=4x8cm=32cm

The perimeter of rectangle=32cm
length=10cm
breath=perimeter-length÷2
breath=32-10÷2
breath=22÷2
breath=11

answer= breath=. 11
