1. The perimeter of a square is 48 m. The area of a rectangle is 4 sq. m less than the area of the given square. If
the length of the rectangle is 14 m. then find its breadth.​

Then Area of Rectangle = x-4

Perimeter of square = 4xside = 48cm

4xside = 48

side = 12m

Area of Square = side^2

x = 12x12

x = 144m^2

area of rectangle = x-4 = 144-4 = 140m^2

area of rectangle = 140

l x b = 140

14 x b = 140

b = 10m
