1. The perimeters of two similar triangles
are 24 cm and 18 cm respectively. If
one side of the first triangle is 8 cm
then what is the corresponding side of
second triangle ?​

perimeter of 1st triangle=24cm

and 2nd triangle=18cm

side of 1st triangle =8cm

so,

 \frac{perimeter \: of \: 1st \: triangle}{perimeter \: of \: 2nd \: triangle}  =  \frac{side \: of \: 1st \: triangle}{side \: of \: 2nd \: triangle}   \\  \frac{24}{18}  =  \frac{8}{side \:  of \: 2nd \: triangle}   \\ side \:o f \: 2nd \: triangle =  \frac{8 \times 18}{24}  =  \frac{144}{24}   = 6cm
