1) Postmaster laughed because he had never come across such a person who had such immense faith in God. Actually he could not believe what he had read in the letter
2)The Postmaster wished for the level of faith Lencho had in God. ( if he also had such extreme faith in god . )
3) Lencho the farmer had started a correspondence with god.
4) Postmaster had placed the letter on the table in front of him.And started to think for the answer to the letter as he did not want to break the faith Lencho had in God....
