So according to the question,

3x + 4y = 130 ---(i)

2x + 5y = 110 ---(ii)

Multiply eq(i) by 2 and eq(ii) by 3, we will get:-

6x + 8y = 260 ---(iii)

6x + 15y = 330 ---(iv)

Now subtract eq(iv) by eq(iii),we will get:-

7y = 70

y = 10

Now substituting the value of y in eq(ii),

2x + 5(10) = 110

2x = 60

x = 30

So the price of pen is 30 and the price of pencil is 10.
