Find the mode and median of this data. Are they same?​

First arrange the observation in ascending order,

5, 9, 12, 10, 15, 16, 19, 20, 20, 20, 20, 23, 24, 25, 25

For mode :-

As mode is the maximum occurring observation,

So, mode = 20

For median :-

As total number of observation is odd. (n = 15)

So, median = (n+1)/2 th observation

= (15 + 1)/2 th observation

= 8th observation

= 20

Hence both mode and median are same.
