Answer:

1.Side of square field = 8m

Side of square = side×side

= 8×8m

= 64m square

2. Length = 56m

Breadth = 29m

Perimeter = 2(l+b)

= 2x85 = 170m

Area of rectangle = l × b

= 56×29 = 1624m square

Answer:

1. Side of square = 8 m

If a man walks around it then he covers the distance equal to the perimeter of square .

So ,

Perimeter = 4 × side

= 4 × 8 = 32 m

So the man has to cover a distance of 32 meters .

Area of the field = side ^2 = 8^2 = 64 m^2

2. Lenght of rectangle = 56 m

Breadth = 29 m

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( l + b )

= 2 ( 56 + 29 )

= 2 × 85 = 170 m

Area of rectangle = Lenght × breadth

= 56 × 29

= 1624 m^2

Hope it helps you!
