Given :

  • Shape = Equilateral triangle
  • Side of Equilateral triangle = 12cm

To Find :

  • Area of the Equilateral triangle

Solution :

⠀⟶⠀Area = √3/4 × (side)²

⠀⟶⠀Area = √3/4 × (12)²

⠀⟶⠀Area = √3/4 × 144

⠀⟶⠀Area = √3 × 36

⠀⟶⠀Area = 1.73205081 × 36

⠀⟶⠀Area = 1.73 × 36

⠀⟶⠀Area = 62.28cm²

∴ Area of Equilateral triangle = 62.28cm²
