1. The sides of a triangle are 3 cm, 4 cm and 6 cm. Determine if it is a right-angled triangle.

To prove that it is a right angled triangle we have to use Pythagoras Theorem

Here 3 cm and 4 cm are the lesser values so we take them as the measures of two sides and 6 cm as the hypotenuse

c² = a² + b²

6² = 3² + 4²

36 = 9 + 16

36 ≠ 25

Hence the values 3, 4 and 6 do not form a right angled triangle.
