1.The simple interest on an amount for 3 years is 150 more if the rate of interest is 6%
annum than the simple interest on the amount for 3 year at the rate of interest 5% per annum. Find the principal.

The simple interest is given as Rs829.50 with the rate of 10% per annum for 3 years.

S.I.=100P×R×T

829.50=100P×10×3

P=10×3829.50×100

⇒P=Rs2765
