1 -: The speed of an aeroplane is 1.24 × 10³ km/hr. Express the distance it will travel in 4 hours 40 minutes . ( Ans = 5778.4 km )

2-: A bullet train travels at a speed of 5.6×10² km/hr. Express the time it will take to travel a distance of 5040 km. ( Ans = 9 hours )

please give me full and correct explanation because I know ans but not explanation. ​

Answer:

we have speed = 1.24*10^3 = 1240km/hr , which is converted into m/s sec by multiplying by 5/18= 1240*5/18 =6200/18m/s

Time = 4 hours 40mins = 280mins = 16800seconds

as Speed = Distance/Time, Distance = Speed × Distance

= 6200/18 ×16800

= 104160000/18

= 5778.3333, or 5778.4 (aprox m)

2. Speed 5.6 × 10^2 = 560km/hr

   Distance = 5040km

  As Speed= Distance/Time, Time = Distance/Speed

= 5040km/560km = 9 hours
