Let the digits be x and y so the original no. would be of the form 'xy'

Expanding, original no. = 10x + y

Reversing the digits, we get 'yx' that is 10y + x

ATQ, 10y+x+3 = 4(10x+y)

10y+x+3 = 40x + 4y

39x - 6y = 3.............................1

Given, x+y = 7..............................2

Solving 1 and 2, we get x=1, y=6

so, original no. = 16 ans
