2)Let the units digit be x.

Hence, ten's digit is x8

Hence, the number is  10.x8+x

                                     

 Now  acc. to condition  

 x80+x+18=10x+x8

80+x2+18x=10x2+8

9x2−18x−72=0

x2−2x−8=0

x2−4x+2x−8=0

x(x−4)+2(x−4)=0

(x+2)(x−4)=0

x=−2 and x=4

Hence, the ten's digit is 48=2

Hence, the number is 24
