Let,

  • First number b = x
  • second Number b = Y

A/c to question,

Case1.

(The sum of two integers is 35)

➠ x + y = 35 ______________(1)

Case2.

(the ratio of these integers is 2:3)

➠ x : y = 2:3

➠ x/y = 2/3

➠ 3x - 2y = 0_____________(2)

Now, multiply 2 in equ(1)

➠2x + 2y = 70___________(3)

Now, add equ(2) & (3)

➠3x + 2x = 70

➠ 5x = 70

➠ x = 70/5

➠x = 14

Now, keep Value of x in equ(2)

➠3×14 - 2y = 0

➠ 2y = 42

➠ 2y = 42

➠ y = 42/2

➠ y = 21

Value of x = 14

value of y =21

thanks!

Answer:

Let, First number be 2x

Then second number will be 5x

(because numbers are in ration 2:5)

Now, according to the question

5x-2x=30

=> 3x=30

=>x=10

Therefore, First number is 2x=2*10=20

and second number is 5x=5*10=50
