Answer:

Range is given as the largest value - smallest value

In the data ,

largest = 45°C

least = 38°C

range = 45 - 38

         =  7°C

mean temperature is given by adding the observations and dividing the sum with the number of observations.

Sum of all observations

= 42+40+44+45+38+43+40

=292

no of observations = 7

mean = 292 / 7

         = 41.7°C               [ approx. ]

hope it helped and please mark as brainliest:)

Answer:

a) 7°c

b) 292

c) 41.7°c

Step-by-step explanation:

a) Ascending order : 38°c, 40°c, 40°c, 42°c, 43°c, 44°c, 45°c.

In the data :

Larger = 45°c

Smallest = 38°c

Range = 45-38

= 7°c

b) Sum of all observation = 38+40+40+42+43+44+45=292

c) No of observation = 7

Mean = 297÷7

= 41.7°c
