1. The time interval between the generation of an ultrasonic
wave and its reception is 500 s. If the speed of sound in
water is 1450 ms 1, what is the distance of the reflecting
object? Answer with calculation​

Distance

By applying f = 1/T

= 1/500

= 0.002Hz

By applying, f = V/ λ

λ = V/f

= 1450/0.002
