1. The kidneys remove from the blood the nitrogenous wastes such as urea, as well as salts and excess water, and excrete them in the form of urine. This is done with the help of millions of nephrons present in the kidney. The filtrated blood is carried away from the kidneys by the renal vein (or kidney vein).

2. From the kidneys, urine travels down two thin tubes called ureters to the bladder. These 8 to 10 inches long tubes take the urine down to the bladder.

3. [{correction - it is urination not urinating}] The bladder expands like an elastic sac to hold more urine. As it reaches capacity, the process of micturition, or urination, begins.

4. Nephrons

5. Sensory neurons have a long dendrite and short axon  and carry messages from sensory receptors to the central nervous system.

6. The spinal cord proper terminates in a region called the conus medullaris.

7. The nervous system is made up of the brain, the spinal cord, and nerves. One of the most important systems in your body, the nervous system is your body's control system.
