Step-by-step explanation:

Solution :-

1.

Given numbers are 9² and 10²

We know that

The number of non perfect square numbers between the two numbers n² and (n+1)² is 2n

We have,

n = 9

n+1 = 9+1 = 10

The number of non perfect square numbers between 9² and 10² is 2×9 = 18

2.

Given numbers are 1/3 and 1/6

1/3 can be written as (1/3)×(2/2) = 2/6

Required rational numbers = 5

On writing the denominator as 5+1 = 6 multiple

1/3 = 2/6 = (2/6)×(6/6)

=> (2×6)/(6×6)

=> 12/36

and

1/6 = (1/6)×(6/6)

=> (1×6)/(6×6)

=> 6/36

The five rational numbers are 7/36, 8/36, 9/36, 10/36 , 11/6

Answer :-

1.The number of non perfect square numbers between 9² and 10² is 18

2. The five rational numbers between 1/3 and 1/6 are 7/36, 8/36, 9/36, 10/36 , 11/6

Used formulae:-

→ The number of non perfect square numbers between the two numbers n² and (n+1)² is 2n
