1. Think and answer.
A. Both CO, and Care pure substances. How?
B. If a sample of water is heated and it does not boil at 100°C, is it a pure substance?
Why?
C. Salt obtained both from the sea as well as from a lake of salty water have the

B. No it is not pure because pure substances have fixed boiling and melting point effected and the boiling point of pure water is 100°C
