Answer:

option c is   the correct answer

Step-by-step explanation:

now, sides of the cuboid is

l= 9 cm

b=3cm

h=3cm

surface area=2(lb+bh+hl)

=2(9×3+3×3+9×3)

=2(27+9+27)

=2×63

=126centimetre square

Given :

  • Three cubes of side 3 cm are joined end to end .

To Find :

  • Total Surface Area of Resulting Cuboid .

Solution :

When three cubes are joined end to end . Then ,

  • Length = 3+3+3 = 9 cm .
  • Breadth = 3 cm .
  • Height = 3 cm .

Using Formula :

\longmapsto\tt\boxed{T.S.A\:of\:Cuboid=2(lb+bh+hl)}

Putting Values :

\longmapsto\tt{2(9\times{3}+3\times{3}+3\times{9)}}

\longmapsto\tt{2(27+9+27)}

\longmapsto\tt{2(54+9)}

\longmapsto\tt{2(63)}

\longmapsto\tt\bf{126\:{cm}^{2}}

So , The Total Surface Area of Cuboid is 126 cm² .

Option c) 126 cm² is Correct .

  • L.S.A of Cuboid = 2h (l+b)
  • T.S.A of Cuboid = 2(lb+bh+hl)
  • Volume of Cuboid = l×b×h
  • L.S.A of Cube = 4a² (a = side)
  • T.S.A of Cube = 6a²
  • Volume of Cube = a³
