Answer:

Rice family A get = 120 kg

Rice family B get= 240 kg

Rice Family C get = 120 kg

Step-by-step explanation:

let the family A get rice be x

then the family B get rice =2x( as it get twice than Family A)

Family C get rice be x (as it get rice half of family B)

total quantity of rice= 480 kh

then the equation will be

Family A rice+ Family B rice + Family C rice= total quantity of rice

x+2x+x=480

4x=480÷4

x=120

Family A get = x= 120 kg rice

Family B get= 2x=2×120 =240 kg rice

Family C get =x= 120 kg rice

hope it helps you

Given:-

  • Total rice shared by families A, B and C = 480kg

  • Let the amount of rice family A gets be 'r'.

Now Acc. To Que.

  • Family B gets 2r kg of rice.

  • Family C gets 1/2×2r kg of rice = r kg.

Also,

=》A + B + C = 480 kg.

=》r + 2r + r = 480 kg.

=》 4r = 480 kg.

=》 r = 480 kg/4.

=》 r = 120 kg.

Therefore Family A gets 120 kg of rice.

Family B gets 2 ×120 = 240 kg of rice.

Family C gets 1/2×240 kg = 120 kg.
