1) In practice, people had no choice. There was no way the ruling party could be defeated, even if people were against it. Until 2000, every election was won by a party called PRI (Institutional Revolutionary Party)

2)We need to respect the laws and rights in a democratic country because, it helps us to make the country a better place. The laws should be conserved and protected because the laws help everyone to go accordingly and get equal rights. As you know, everyone is equal in the eyes of the law, we should respect it.

3)Non-democracy refers to governance systems other than democracy. ... Thus, the main difference between democratic and non-democratic government is the power vested in the common people; power in a democratic system is vested in the people, but power in a non-democratic government is vested in the rulers.
