1.) "To deny people their human rights is to their very humanity." This was said firstly by the liberal middle class during the revolution of 1848. This actually means that right to vote or suffrage is a universal right and directly depicts humanity. If anyone does not get this rights, he/she is disregarded with his/her humanity. Thus in order to safeguard the humans of society everyone must be given right to vote.

2.) A newly independent nations' government is wholesome responsible for the development of that nation in terms of per capita income and human development index. Also the government makes decision regarding the public facilities like education, food, etc.

Independence is a condition of a person, nation, country, or state in which its residents and population, or some portion thereof, exercise self-government, and usually sovereignty, over the territory. The opposite of independence is the status of a dependent territory. The government has the responsibility regarding the development, civic amenities, proper healthcare and military defences and economy of the country.
