Let the consecutive numbers be x,x+2

According to question:

x+(x+2)=50

The above statement is the answer.

Solution:

x+x+2=50

2x+2=50

2x=50-2

2x=48

x=48/2

x=24

1st number=24

2nd number=24+2

=26

Since,Both the answer is even

Hence the condition you are giving is wrong hence the sum of two consecutive odd numbers cannot be 50.
