1) Transpiration pull with be maximum when :-
The stomata is open, atmosphere will be dry and the soil will be moist.
Open stomata will help in losing water, since the atmosphere is dry, more water will be released in the atmosphere.

Answer :- (a)

2) The rate of transpiration is more when
Atmosphere is dry as well as the temperature is high.
Dry atmosphere will help in releasing
more water and the high temperature increases the rate of transpiration.

Answer :- (d)

3) Transpiration is the fastest when the day is :-
hot, dry and windy.

These factors increases the rate of evaporation as well as transpiration.

Answer :- (d)

4) Transpiration is best defined as :-

Transpiration is defined as the loss of water in the form of water vapour by the aerial surfaces of plants (leaf, stem etc).

Option a doesn't says for vapour form
option c doesn't explains the parts from where the water is lost
option d again doesn't say about vapour form.

Hence the answer is :- (b)
