In the given figure find the value of x, y and z if x = 4y and z= 3x+10.​

Concept

x + y + z = 180°

Given

x = 4y

z = 3x + 10

z = 3(4y) + 10

z = 12y + 10

Replacing values

4y + y + 12y + 10 = 180°

17y = 170°

y = 10°

Now,

x = 4y = 4*10° = 40°

z = 12y + 10 = 12*10° + 10° = 130°

Answer

So, x = 40°

y = 10° and

z = 130°
