1) Two circles with radii 3.5 cm and 2.5 cm touch each other internally. Find the distance between their centres.

here the distance between the centres of two circles
3.5-2.5=1
but as the smaller circle is inside the bigger circle the distance between the should be greater than smaller circle's radius
