park of length 70 m and breadth 45 m and parallel to its sides. Find the area of the roads. Also

find the cost of constructing the roads at the rate of 105 per m2.

2.A room is 4.5 m long and 4 m wide. The floor of the room is to be covered with tiles of size 15

Answer:

Answer for Question 1

Let the two crossroads be EFGH and PQRS

For rectangle EFGH

Length = 70m

Breadth = 5m

Area of EFGH = Length × Breadth

= 70m × 5m

= 350m²

For rectangle PQRS

Length = 45m

Breadth = 5m

Area of PQRS = Length × Breadth

= 45m × 5m

= 225m²

Area of Square WXYZ = Side × Side

= 5m × 5m

= 25m²

Area of crossroads = Area of EFGH + Area of PQRS - Area of square WXYZ

= 350m² + 225m² - 25m²

= 550m²

Total Cost = 550m² × ₹105

= ₹57750

SORRY , I am not able to give the answer of 2nd question
