1. Two parallel lines AB and CD are cut by a transversal EF. If the interior angles
of the same side of EF be (4x + 27)° and (7x – 12). Find the measure of each
of these angles.​

4x + 27 + 7x - 12 = 180°

4x + 7x + 27 - 12 = 180°

x = 165/11°

x = 15°

so, the 2 angles:-

1st angle = (4x + 27)°

= 14 × 5 + 27 °

= 70 + 27°

= 97°

2nd angle = (7x - 12)°

= 7 × 15 - 12°

= 85 - 12°

= 73°
